David W. Keiser, will retire from his position as president of Alexion Pharmaceuticals by the end of this year. Mr. Keiser, a co-founder of Alexion, played a central role in the commercial launch of Soliris in the U.S. and Europe, and helped to build a broad platform for continued growth in those and other territories.
